Because we don’t have ads on this blog, the content is not dictated by advertisers. We are paying for all the hosting and computer expenses from a fixed income. These costs have gone up exponentially. At some point in time we will either need to have ads on this blog, obtain enough from the sale of the filter info to pay for expenses, or simply shut the blog down. All our experience and discoveries will then not be available.
The pdf download has 33 pages of info with pictures and descriptions of the working filters described on this blog. Work on slow sand water filters has been going on here since 2008. All of the filters described on this blog are still working, with the exception of the 5 gallon filters. We found that the 5 gallon filters did not work.
We are very sorry, we do not use paypal any longer. We are working on alternatives.
